Chairman of Prime Minister’s Youth Programme Discusses Enhancements to Youth Loan Scheme

Islamabad: Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, chaired a meeting with officials from the State Bank of Pakistan today to review and enhance the Prime Minister’s Youth Loan Scheme (PMYP).

According to Press Information Department, the discussions focused on the impact of the PMYP Loan Scheme on youth employment and entrepreneurship. Chairman Khan highlighted the scheme’s successes in empowering young Pakistanis and outlined the necessity for increased support from the State Bank to expand its reach.

Officials discussed improving the loan application process and increasing the accessibility of the scheme to more young entrepreneurs. Proposals for targeted outreach, educational campaigns, and mentorship were also considered to boost the scheme’s effectiveness. The meeting concluded with a commitment to strengthen the PMYP Loan Scheme as a cornerstone for economic growth and youth empowerment in Pakistan.
