Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif Leads Apex Committee Meeting on Security and Safety in Punjab

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, recently chaired a significant Apex Committee meeting which focused on enhancing the security protocols across the province, attended by high-level military and government officials.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the meeting reviewed the overall security posture, including the protection of foreign nationals working on both CPEC and non-CPEC projects. Discussions also covered extensive security preparations for the upcoming Muharram month, with plans to utilize high-tech surveillance and a tiered security force approach.

The committee further deliberated on flood monitoring and management strategies in anticipation of the monsoon season, emphasizing the importance of safeguarding both human and livestock populations through well-coordinated rescue and relief efforts. The forum resolved to maintain their united efforts to guarantee the safety and well-being of the public throughout Punjab.
