Chief of Army Staff visits Corps Headquarters Peshawar and Khyber Agency

Rawalpindi, March 16, 2018 (PPI-OT): General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) visited Corps Headquarters Peshawar and Khyber Agency today. At Corps HQ, COAS was given detailed briefing on security situation in FATA / KP and progress on Op RuF, return of TDPs and development works. In Khyber Agency COAS saw progress on fencing along Pak-Afghan border. COAS interacted with troops and tribal elders.

COAS hailed sacrifices for peace and their full support behind efforts of security forces. He assured them that ongoing consolidation efforts shall take the current gains towards enduring peace and stability. Commander Peshawar corps and IGFC KP were present during the visit.
