Concluding Ceremony of AMAN Dialogue Held in Karachi

Karachi: The concluding ceremony of AMAN DIALOGUE in an ongoing five-day Naval Exercise AMAN-25 organized by the Pakistan Navy was held in Karachi today. Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal was the chief guest of the ceremony.

According to Radio Pakistan, Ahsan Iqbal, while addressing the ceremony, commended the holding of AMAN-DIALOGUE for maritime security and mentioned that it serves as a platform for sharing mutual experiences. He emphasized the multiple challenges the region faces, including climate change.

The Planning Minister further stated that the maritime sector can contribute significantly to achieving consistent progress and stressed the importance of promoting maritime trade for progress and prosperity.

Deputy Chief of Pakistan Naval Staff Operations, Vice Admiral Raja Rab Nawaz, highlighted the necessity of maritime security for future progress. He urged for joint efforts and collaboration to tackle the current challenges, particularly human and arms smuggling.

Naval Chief Bangladesh Admiral Nazam Ul Hasan, Fleet Commander Australian Navy Rear Admiral Christopher Smith, and renowned Maritime expert Dr. Christian Bogar also addressed the ceremony.
