Multilateral Cooperation Vital to Tackle Global Challenges: Romina

Islamabad: Coordinator to the Prime Minister on Climate Change Romina Khurshid Alam has emphasized the importance of multilateral cooperation in addressing global challenges. She highlighted Pakistan’s active efforts to work with international partners in mobilizing resources for climate-resilient infrastructure.

According to Radio Pakistan, Romina Khurshid Alam addressed an event where she reiterated the government’s commitment to mitigating the impacts of climate change and enhancing adaptation efforts. She detailed that Pakistan has developed a national adaptation plan focusing on strengthening resilience in critical sectors such as water, agriculture, and disaster management. Furthermore, she mentioned the Living Indus initiative, a significant program aimed at restoring the ecological health of the Indus basin.
