Dandot Cement Company Limited Announces Resolutions at 43rd Annual General Meeting

Lahore, At its 43rd Annual General Meeting held on November 24, 2023, Dandot Cement Company Limited adopted several key resolutions, including the confirmation of previous meeting minutes, adoption of audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2023, and the reappointment of its auditors.

The first item on the agenda was the confirmation of the minutes from the Extraordinary General Meeting held on November 1, 2023. The minutes were circulated among the members, reviewed, and signed by the Chairman as a correct record of the meeting.

In the second item, the company reviewed and adopted the audited accounts for the year ended June 30, 2023, alongside the Auditors’ and Directors’ reports. These documents were accepted and formally adopted as part of the company’s financial records.

The final resolution addressed the appointment of auditors for the fiscal year 2023-24. M/s Parker Russell —A.J.S., Chartered Accountants, were appointed as the company’s auditors, succeeding M/s Amin, Mudassar & Co., who were eligible for reappointment but did not continue. Furthermore, the resolution authorized the Chief Executive of Dandot Cement Company Limited to negotiate and fix the remuneration of the newly appointed auditors for the specified fiscal year.
