Islamabad: Multan witnessed the inauguration of Pakistan’s first female-led appliance service franchise by Dawlance, a prominent home appliance manufacturer and an Arcelik subsidiary. Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins visited the groundbreaking center, commending the company’s commitment to female empowerment.
The facility is operated by entrepreneurs Rimsha Yaqoob and Aliza Rukhsana, signifying a shift in the traditionally male-dominated technical services sector. Dawlance aims to promote female participation in entrepreneurship and technical fields through this venture.
