Deputy Commissioner Chaman Oversees Distribution of Relief Goods to Flood Victims

Chaman, Seventeen trucks loaded with relief goods arrived in Chaman yesterday, following the personal interest and efforts of Deputy Commissioner Chaman Raja Athar Abbas. The goods were requested from the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) to support flood victims in the region. The distribution process has already begun in some areas, with more goods set to be delivered in other locations.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the relief goods include tents, food and drink utensils, and other items necessary for daily needs. The distribution will be carried out in stages to ensure that all affected individuals receive the assistance they need.

Deputy Commissioner Raja Athar Abbas has been commended for his swift response and dedication to providing emergency relief to those affected by recent heavy rains and flooding. The efforts to distribute relief supplies have brought much-needed support to flood victims in Chaman.

Local residents expressed their gratitude to DC Chaman for his ongoing work to deliver relief materials and handle the emergency situation effectively. They hoped that the Deputy Commissioner would continue to serve the area with the same commitment in the future.
