Deputy Speaker Asserts Regional Stability Hinges on Kashmir Resolution

Islamabad: On the eve of 5th August 2019, Youm-e-Istehsaal, Deputy Speaker National Assembly Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah emphasized that the struggle of the Kashmiri people for freedom and self-determination exemplifies resilience and courage amid oppression.

According to National Assembly of Pakistan, Deputy Speaker Shah expressed concern over the deteriorating human rights situation in Indian-Occupied Kashmir and the Indian government’s disregard for International Law. He also highlighted the plight of the Palestinian people, who have endured Israeli aggression and occupation for decades, particularly over the last 10 months.

Deputy Speaker Shah called on the International Community to take immediate action to end the bloodshed and support the just causes of the Kashmiri and Palestinian people. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to advocating for their rights and freedoms until they achieve their rightful place among the nations.
