Islamabad, The ongoing repatriation process of illegal foreign nationals, particularly Afghans, back to their homeland is being conducted in a manner that ensures dignity and safety. This initiative has seen a significant number of Afghan nationals, including men, women, and children, returning to Afghanistan over the recent ten days.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the latest figures reveal that 6,667 Afghan nationals have been repatriated in the last ten days. This group comprises 2,345 men, 1,425 women, and 2,897 children, all of whom have returned to Afghanistan through an organized process involving 230 vehicles for 254 Afghan families. The total number of Afghans repatriated so far has reached 527,359 individuals.
This effort highlights the government’s commitment to managing the complex issue of illegal immigration in a manner that respects the human rights of all individuals involved, ensuring that they return to their country of origin safely and respectfully.
