Driver Missing After Oil Tanker Plunges into Jhelum River in Bandipora

Srinagar: An oil tanker traveling at high speed skidded off the road and plunged into the Jhelum River at Wangipora in the Sumbal area of Bandipora district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Kashmir Media Service, police officials reported that the incident occurred during the night when the unidentified oil tanker, en route from Srinagar to Sumbal, lost control near the Wangipora checkpoint and fell into the river along with its driver.

Rescue operations are currently underway to recover the tanker and locate the missing driver.
