Earthquake Shakes Kishtwar District in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu: A 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck Kishtwar district in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, causing tremors felt throughout the hilly region on Saturday.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the earthquake occurred at 5:34 PM and had a depth of 10 kilometers. Its epicenter was located at latitude 33.29 degrees north and longitude 76.67 degrees east.

Local authorities, including police officials, have not reported any damage following the seismic event, indicating that the area may have been spared significant impacts from the quake.
