EMCO Industries Limited Reports Unaudited Financial Results for the First Nine Months of 2024

Lahore, EMCO Industries Limited announced its unaudited financial results for the nine months ending March 31, 2024. The Board of Directors, meeting via online video conference on April 29, approved the financial statements as recommended by the Audit Committee. No dividends, bonus shares, or rights shares were issued.

For the nine-month period, EMCO reported revenue of Rs. 3,201,856,890, up from Rs. 2,886,291,068 in the corresponding period of the previous year. The cost of revenue increased to Rs. 2,320,089,045, resulting in a gross profit of Rs. 881,767,845 compared to Rs. 803,293,757 a year ago.

Operating expenses for the period were Rs. 194,664,785, and the company achieved an operating profit of Rs. 687,103,060, up from Rs. 658,696,445 in 2023. Financial and other charges amounted to Rs. 293,753,633.

Profit before tax was reported at Rs. 340,909,233, down from Rs. 379,833,101 the previous year. After accounting for taxation, the profit after tax stood at Rs. 221,591,002, down from Rs. 248,555,789 in the prior year. Earnings per share were Rs. 6.33, compared to Rs. 7.10 in 2023.
