Engro Corporation’s Incoming President Meets with Pakistan’s Industries and Production Minister

Islamabad, Mr. Ahsan Zafar, the incoming President of Engro Corporation, met with Federal Minister for Industries and Production and National Food Security and Research, Rana Tanveer Hussain, in Islamabad. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the private sector’s role in boosting economic activities in Pakistan and reinforcing the government’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment.

According to Press Information Department, Mr. Zafar shared his credentials with the Federal Minister and expressed his confidence in the measures being taken by the government to stimulate economic growth. The Minister, while welcoming Mr. Zafar, also appreciated the services of the outgoing CEO of Engro Fertilizer, Mr. Gias Khan.

Federal Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain emphasized the critical role of the private sector in contributing to Pakistan’s economy. He noted that the corporate sector aligns with the government’s vision for economic progress and highlighted the government’s efforts to provide a conducive business environment. These measures, he added, are in line with the vision set by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, aiming to encourage corporate sector growth and excellence.
