Karachi: EXIDE Pakistan Ltd. has announced the postponement of its Board of Directors meeting originally scheduled for July 30, 2024, to August 15, 2024. The meeting, set to approve the financial statements for the first quarter ending June 30, 2024, will now accommodate both in-person and online attendance via the Zoom application.
The company has officially sought an extension for this rescheduling from the Security and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), citing reasons detailed in their application. According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), this adjustment also influences the designated “Close Period” for trading by insiders, which is now set from August 9, 2024, to August 15, 2024, inclusive of both dates.
This reschedule allows further preparation and review, ensuring comprehensive discussions and decision-making regarding the quarter’s financial outcomes. Stakeholders are advised to await further communications on developments following the August board meeting.
