Fauji Cement Sets Date for 32nd Annual General Meeting in Rawalpindi

Rawalpindi: Notice is hereby given that the 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Fauji Cement Company Limited (FCCL) will take place at the Pearl Continental Hotel in Rawalpindi on October 14, 2024. The meeting aims to discuss several key agenda items critical to the company’s operations and future strategy.

Scheduled for a mid-October gathering, the AGM will include the confirmation of minutes from the previous year’s meeting, which was held on October 27, 2023. Attendees will also review, consider, and adopt the annual audited financial statements for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2024, along with reports from the company’s directors and auditors.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the agenda further includes the appointment of statutory auditors for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, and the determination of their remuneration. A significant point of interest for shareholders is the proposal for a final cash dividend of Rs. 1 per share, equating to a 10% dividend, as recommended by the Board of Directors.

In addition to these points, any further business that requires attention will be addressed with the permission of the Chairman.

The notification of the AGM and its agenda has been distributed in advance to relevant parties, including the publication in prominent newspapers such as the Business Recorder and Daily Nawa-i-Waqt on September 21, 2024, across Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, and Islamabad.
