FBR Surpasses Tax Targets with Assistance from SIFC

Islamabad, The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has successfully met its tax collection targets for the third quarter of the current fiscal year, aided by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). This accomplishment has not only exceeded the set targets but also indicates a positive trajectory towards meeting the annual fiscal goals.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, FBR has amassed 6.710 trillion rupees in taxes by the end of this quarter, surpassing the goal of 6.707 trillion rupees by 3 billion rupees. This achievement bolsters the government’s confidence in reaching its projected annual tax collection target of 9.415 trillion rupees for the current financial year.
