Islamabad: In a significant development, Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan has pledged to cover all costs for the repatriation of Pakistani prisoners long stranded in Sri Lanka, facilitating their imminent return.

According to Press Information Department, this financial commitment resolves the previous hurdles related to the costs of repatriation, which had delayed the prisoners’ release despite ongoing discussions between the Ministry of Interior and Sri Lankan authorities.
