Federal Minister Pledges Full Financial Support for Azad Kashmir in Upcoming Budget

Islamabad, Minister for Kashmir Affairs Amir Muqam has committed to providing Azad Kashmir with the necessary funds for the next financial year, ensuring that all infrastructure projects in the region will be completed as scheduled.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a briefing on the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) plans for Azad Kashmir held in Muzaffarabad, Minister Muqam affirmed the government’s dedication to supporting the region’s development. He emphasized that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government will allocate its full share of the budget to Azad Kashmir, focusing particularly on timely completion of its infrastructure improvements.

This funding pledge is part of the government’s broader commitment to enhance the economic and social well-being of Azad Kashmir, aligning with ongoing efforts to improve living standards and boost regional growth.
