Federal Minister Prioritizes SME Development in High-Level SMEDA Meeting

Islamabad, In a significant stride towards enhancing the business landscape, a high-level meeting centered on the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA) took place today, led by Federal Minister for Industries and Production Division, Rana Tanveer Hussain.

According to Ministry of Industries and Production, during the meeting, the Chairman of SMEDA provided an exhaustive briefing on the authority’s operations and initiatives to Minister Hussain. The Federal Minister expressed the government’s commitment to prioritizing the development of small and medium enterprises (SMEs), recognizing their crucial role in the nation’s economic growth.

Minister Hussain emphasized the government’s intention to support SMEs in reaching their full potential, with a particular focus on human resource development as a key to effective operation within SMEDA. He also underscored the significance of integrating women into the economic development framework, advocating for a greater focus on women’s entrepreneurship as a means to leverage the women’s workforce in enhancing economic growth.
