Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir Warns of Severe Repercussions for Any Hostile Actions Against Pakistan

Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir has issued a stern warning to Pakistan’s adversaries, cautioning that any future misadventure against the country will result in extremely dangerous, far-reaching, and painful consequences. He made these remarks during a solemn ceremony at GHQ, Rawalpindi, commemorating the one-year anniversary of Pakistan’s landmark victory in Marka-e-Haq.

According to Radio Pakistan, Field Marshal Munir emphasized the unprecedented victory achieved by Pakistan, its people, and the armed forces in Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan-um-Marsoos. He described the conflict as a decisive battle between two ideologies, in which truth prevailed over falsehood. The Field Marshal highlighted India’s aspirations to alter the regional balance of power through military aggression and diplomatic isolation, asserting that these ambitions exceed India’s capacity and capability, and Pakistan will not permit them to succeed.

The Army Chief detailed the heavy human and material losses suffered by India in the conflict, consequences that will persist for years. He noted the successful targeting of more than twenty-six enemy military installations by Pakistan’s Fatah missiles and the Shaheens of the Pakistan Air Force, reiterating that Pakistan’s defense remains impregnable against external aggression.

Field Marshal Munir paid tribute to the martyrs and veterans of Marka-e-Haq, including unarmed women, elderly people, and innocent children who embraced martyrdom. He stressed that Pakistan views the sacrifices of its martyrs as a sacred trust, its strength as a responsibility, and its success as a blessing from Almighty Allah. The message from the people and national leadership is unequivocal: no compromise on the country’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national dignity will ever be accepted.

Highlighting the evolving nature of warfare, he explained that modern and future conflicts will involve multi-domain operations with long-range weapons, drones, cyber capabilities, and artificial intelligence. To align with these modern warfare requirements, a Defence Forces Headquarters has been established. On the diplomatic front, he lauded Pakistan’s strategic mutual defense agreement with Saudi Arabia as a significant milestone and noted the country’s hosting of historic peace negotiations through effective, responsible, and impartial diplomacy.

He accused India of resorting to terrorism, considering conventional war against Pakistan impossible, and urged Afghanistan to dismantle terrorist centers operating from its soil. He also commended the bravery of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, as well as the armed forces and law enforcement personnel, for their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. The Chief of Defence Forces vowed to avenge every drop of innocent Pakistani blood and continue the war against terrorism until the last terrorist is eliminated.

Field Marshal Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to extending political, diplomatic, and moral support to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized that Pakistan’s future is aligned with the vision of its forefathers, and the nation’s green crescent flag symbolizes hope. The armed forces remain organized and prepared, with the Pakistani nation being the country’s strength and the armed forces the strength of the nation.

Expressing confidence in Pakistan’s future, Field Marshal Munir stated that the country’s destiny, by the grace of Almighty Allah, is bright and glorious. He concluded that whenever truth and falsehood confront each other, victory is always destined for truth, and Pakistan will remain invincible in the years ahead.
