Islamabad, June 12, 2023 (PPI-OT): Minister for Finance and Revenue Ishaq Dar says we must ensure fiscal discipline to stabilize our economy. He was addressing Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan’s Post Budget Conference in Islamabad on Monday.
The Minister said two committees have been constituted to overcome issues that have surfaced regarding the budget. He said one committee headed by Chartered Accountants will overcome the anomalies of budget while the other one will deal with business related issues and improvements in the budget.
He said suggestions for improvement in budget will be welcomed. He said all stakeholders must collaborate for stabilizing the economy and putting the country on path of progress. Ishaq Dar said collective efforts are needed to overcome challenges faced by the country.
