Glowing tributes paid to martyrs of 13 July 1931

Islamabad, July 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): The All Parties Hurriyat Conference AJK has paid rich tributes to the 13 July 1931 martyrs saying that the sacred blood of these martyrs ignited the candle of freedom in Jammu and Kashmir against the tyranny and subjugation of Dogra rulers. The APHC-AJK leader and vice chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League, Syed Aijaz Rehmani, in a statement issued in Islamabad paying tributes to July 13 martyrs pledged to take the sacred mission of the martyrs to its logical conclusion.

He said that the unprecedented sacrifices rendered by the people of Kashmir for the Kashmir cause would not be allowed go waste and would definitely bring fruit. The APHC-AJK leader and vice chairman of Shababul Muslimeen Mushtaq Ahmad Butt in a statement said that July 13, 1931 was a turning point in the contemporary history of Kashmir when 22 Kashmiris were killed in cold blood by the forces of Dogra ruler. Terming this incident as milestone of Kashmiris’ ongoing struggle for right to self-determination, he said that the people of the troubled region have been struggling for their just and legitimate rights guaranteed to them by the international community.
