Karachi: Gold prices in Pakistan saw a significant rise on Monday, according to figures released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of one tola of 24-karat gold increased by Rs. 8,100, bringing the new rate to Rs. 357,800.
The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also surged, rising by Rs. 6,944 to Rs. 306,755. Meanwhile, 10 grams of 22-karat gold saw an increase of Rs. 6,366, bringing the price to Rs. 281,202.
On the international front, gold prices also recorded an uptick, with the price per ounce climbing by $69 to reach $3,395.
Silver prices followed the upward trend, with the rate of one tola of 24-karat silver increasing by Rs. 24, setting the new price at Rs. 3,441. The price of 10 grams of 24-karat silver rose by Rs. 21, reaching Rs. 2,950.
Internationally, silver prices experienced a modest rise, increasing by $0.22 to $32.77 per ounce.
The rise in prices reflects ongoing global market trends, impacting local markets across Pakistan. The data was provided by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, which regularly updates the rates based on international market fluctuations.
