Government Focuses on Modernizing Education Sector

Islamabad: Minister for Education and Professional Training Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui announced special measures aimed at modernizing the education sector during the inauguration of the new Pakistan Education Endowment Fund building.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Siddiqui emphasized the importance of providing professional training to the youth to enable them to contribute effectively to the country’s economy. He highlighted the Pakistan Education Endowment Fund’s (PEEF) initiative to offer scholarships in key fields such as tourism, health, climate change, IT, and artificial intelligence as a significant step towards this goal.

Dr. Siddiqui stated, “The development of the education sector on modern lines is essential for the progress of the nation. Equipping our youth with the necessary skills through professional training will ensure they play a pivotal role in driving the country’s economic growth.”

The Minister praised the PEEF’s efforts in offering scholarships and underscored the necessity of such initiatives in preparing the youth to meet contemporary challenges and opportunities.
