Government Implements Measures to Boost Export-Oriented Industries in Pakistan

Lahore, Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan has announced that the government is actively taking steps to promote export-oriented industries, with a particular focus on the textile sector. This declaration was made during his visit to the All Pakistan Textile Mills Association Office in Lahore, where he met with textile industrialists.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Khan assured the industrialists that the textile industry would receive significant support to aid in export diversification. He also discussed the government’s commitment to instituting structural reforms, addressing energy and tariff issues, and diversifying exports as strategies to ensure sustainable economic growth and stability.
