Governors of Punjab and Sindh Promote IT Education Initiatives in Karachi

Karachi, Governors of Punjab and Sindh visited the IT marquee at the Governor House, where they discussed the expansion of IT education and welfare initiatives aimed at transforming the prospects of the youth. The event highlighted the potential impacts of these initiatives on future careers in technology.

According to Sindh Governor House, during the visit, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori and Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan explored various educational projects including IT classes and welfare programs like the hope bell and ration bags. Governor Tesori announced plans to extend the Advanced Technology Training (ATT) initiative beyond Hyderabad to other cities.

He expressed hope that students from these programs could someday lead major tech firms like Yahoo and Google. Governor Haider praised the initiatives, predicting that the IT courses could be transformative for the participants. He also distributed laptops to students via a lottery system during the event.
