Heavy Rain Triggers Structural Collapse in Tank, No Casualties Reported

Islamabad: Recent heavy rainfall in Tank, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, led to the collapse of residential structures on July 4, 2024, affecting the home of Mr. Ali Muhammad Khan. The incident involved significant structural damage but fortunately resulted in no human casualties.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority, the property located in Rhagi Qureshi, Tehsil Tiarza, suffered the collapse of two rooms, a kitchen, and a boundary wall due to the adverse weather conditions. The PDMA has reported that there were no injuries or fatalities associated with this event.

Efforts to assess and respond to the damage are underway, with authorities prioritizing safety checks and support for the affected residents to mitigate further risks posed by the ongoing rainy season.
