Hindu Pilgrim Dies of Cardiac Arrest in Ganderbal, Kashmir

Srinagar: A Hindu pilgrim died of a cardiac arrest in the Ganderbal district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, adding to recent incidents of distress among visitors in the region.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the pilgrim, identified as Chandra Bhan, a 59-year-old from Patiala, Punjab, succumbed to his condition at the Base Camp in the Baltal area of the district. Following the incident, his body was handed over to his family for final rites, as confirmed by a local Indian police official.

In an unrelated incident in the region, an elderly woman named Misra Banoo was tragically killed after being struck by a truck in the Qaimoh area of Kulgam district.
