Lahore, In a compassionate gesture aimed at supporting police personnel injured in the line of duty, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has sanctioned 21 lakh rupees to cover the medical expenses of eight officers. This financial aid is part of ongoing health welfare measures to ensure the well-being and swift recovery of the force’s members.
According to Punjab Police, the beneficiaries of this initiative include personnel from different districts who sustained injuries while performing their duties. Notably, Head Constable Kaleem Ullah Khan from Rahim Yar Khan received five lakh rupees for his medical treatment. Additionally, Constable Asad Ullah of the Lahore Police was allocated one lakh rupees, while Constables Muhammad Imran Tabasum, Saif Ullah, Abdul Razaq, Sherbaz, Daniyal Aslam, and Shahbaz Saleem from Rahim Yar Khan each were granted two and a half lakh rupees.
