Jammu: The Indian National Congress in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) has vehemently criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led administration’s governance, labeling it a period of unfulfilled promises and disregard for the local populace’s aspirations.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Raman Bhalla, the Working President of the IIOJK Congress, in a series of meetings in Jammu, characterized the BJP’s rule as a “nightmare.” Bhalla accused the BJP of failing to keep its electoral promises and mishandling policy and governance issues in Jammu and Kashmir. He cited these failures as major factors contributing to increasing public dissatisfaction and resentment towards the BJP administration.
Bhalla articulated the deep-seated frustration among Kashmiris, who he claimed were initially misled by the BJP’s emotionally charged slogans that ultimately led to disenchantment when the party ascended to power. He called for a unified effort to establish a governance structure that genuinely represents and meets the needs of the Kashmiri people, urging the community to rally against the BJP’s policies and strive for responsible, people-focused governance.
