Indian Forces Conduct Search Operations in Samba and Poonch Ahead of Vote Counting

Jammu, Indian forces initiated search operations in the Samba and Poonch districts of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir, conducting thorough inspections of several areas, including dense forested regions. These operations come ahead of the scheduled vote counting on June 4, as part of heightened security measures.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the military personnel focused their searches in the Purmandal area of Samba district and the Marha forest area of Bufliaz in Poonch district. Despite the extensive scope of these operations, there have been no significant findings reported so far.

Security has been notably increased across the Rajouri, Poonch, and Samba districts in anticipation of the vote counting, reflecting efforts to maintain order and prevent any disruptions during this critical period.
