Islamabad: inDrive, a global mobility and urban services platform, has announced a significant 57% increase in active couriers across Pakistan for the first half of 2025. The rise highlights the growing acceptance of its peer-to-peer model, which offers couriers more control and flexibility over their work.
The company’s unique approach allows couriers to select orders, negotiate prices, and plan their routes, all while benefiting from one of the market’s lowest commission rates. This system enables couriers to retain more of their income and work according to their preferences.
Awais Saeed, inDrive’s Country Head, emphasized the service’s impact on small businesses, noting that it provides essential delivery services that support microentrepreneurs. Saeed also highlighted the flexibility inDrive offers to couriers in an economy with limited part-time job opportunities.
Couriers working with inDrive can earn up to 65,000 PKR monthly through part-time work. They complete an average of five deliveries daily, amounting to about 27 per week. Peak delivery times are between 3 PM and 7 PM, with over 90% of deliveries conducted via motorbikes.
To further expand its courier community, inDrive plans to launch a referral program this summer. Couriers can share personalized invites, earning cash rewards when a referred friend meets delivery targets. Additionally, inDrive is developing initiatives to enhance couriers’ growth with educational and financial programs, with more details forthcoming.
