Information Minister Advocates Dialogue as Solution to Political Challenges

Islamabad, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has emphasized the importance of negotiations and dialogue as the foundation for resolving political issues in Pakistan. His comments were made in response to a news conference held by Maulana Fazlur Rehman, chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F).

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Tarar highlighted the Parliament as the ideal venue for such political discourse, especially in the current context. He called on Maulana Fazlur Rehman to recognize the government’s economic achievements, which include bolstering the nation’s foreign exchange reserves and driving the stock exchange to unprecedented levels. The minister also praised the government’s role in strengthening the national currency and significantly narrowing the trade deficit.
