Islamabad, Today marks the celebration of International Day of Parliamentarism, an occasion dedicated to acknowledging the vital role of parliaments in fostering democracy worldwide. According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker Syed Ghulam Mustafa Shah have emphasized the paramount importance of parliamentary supremacy for the growth and development of democratic institutions in the country. In separate messages, they highlighted the critical role of parliaments in promoting democratic values, human rights, and the rule of law, reaffirming the Pakistani Parliament’s commitment to these principles.
