Lahore: In a concerted effort to enhance economic cooperation, Senior Vice President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Engineer Khalid Usman, met with Iranian Consul General Mehran Movahhedfar to discuss strategies for boosting bilateral trade between Pakistan and Iran.
According to a statement by Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the meeting focused on increasing trade volumes and exploring collaborative opportunities, particularly in agriculture, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and energy. Engineer Usman highlighted the potential for these sectors to drive economic growth in both nations.
Consul General Movahhedfar expressed support for Pakistan’s business community and reiterated Iran’s commitment to strengthening trade relations. He stressed the importance of ongoing cooperation to overcome existing challenges and achieve sustainable growth.
