Islamabad Police Arrest Key Member of Theft Gang, Recover Stolen Goods

Islamabad, In a significant crackdown on criminal activity, the Islamabad Capital Police Secretariat station has arrested a key member of a notorious theft gang, recovering stolen property in the process. This operation is part of the police’s ongoing efforts to curb theft and ensure public safety in the capital.

According to Islamabad Capital Police, the arrested individual, identified as Zeeshan Iqbal, was caught with stolen LEDs among other items. Utilizing both technical and human intelligence, the Secretariat police team managed to apprehend Iqbal, who was involved in various theft incidents across the city. A case has been registered, and further investigations are in progress to dismantle the wider network of this criminal gang.

The successful operation reflects the police’s commitment to safeguarding citizens’ lives and property, prioritizing the eradication of theft and criminal activities. The police have also appealed to the public to assist in maintaining security by reporting suspicious behavior through the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” or the “ICT-15” mobile application.
