Jahangir Siddiqui Increases Stake in His Company, Purchasing Additional Shares

Karachi, Jahangir Siddiqui & Co. Limited. announced that its founder, Mr. Jahangir Siddiqui, has increased his holdings in the company by acquiring an additional 3,000 Class ‘A’ Preference Shares. This transaction, conducted through the Ready Market, was finalized on May 03, 2024, and was reported in compliance with the Pakistan Stock Exchange Rule Book.

The shares were purchased at a price of Rs 6.75 per share. Following this acquisition, Mr. Siddiqui’s total ownership in Class ‘A’ Preference Shares amounts to 75,827,161. The shares were issued in electronic form and are registered with the Central Depository Company (CDC).

This disclosure was formally submitted on April 24, 2024, and the details of the transaction are as per clause 5.6.4 of the Rule Book of the Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited.
