Kachhi Education Committee Tackles Teacher Absenteeism and School Closures

Kachhi: The District Education Group of Kachhi, led by Deputy Commissioner Captain Retired Jameel Ahmed Baloch, convened its monthly meeting to address critical issues in the local education sector, including the persistent problem of teacher absenteeism and the reopening of closed schools.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the meeting saw the participation of various key educational officials and representatives from organizations like UNICEF and RTSM. The discussions centered on enhancing the functionality of educational institutions and ensuring that teachers adhere to their duties.

Deputy Commissioner Baloch stressed the importance of teacher presence in improving educational outcomes and warned of strict measures against those frequently absent. Additionally, the committee is considering strategies to reopen and staff closed schools across the district, emphasizing the urgency of providing quality education to the next generation and encouraging educators to actively contribute to this goal.
