Karachi Governor Attributes May 9 Tragedy to Failed Conspiracy Against Army

Karachi, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori addressed the events of May 9 during a press conference at Governor House, describing them as a thwarted attempt to sow discord between the people and the army. He commended the restraint of the Pakistan Army, which, he noted, did not fire a single shot during the incident.

According to Sindh Governor House, Governor Tesori emphasized that the forces and citizens of Pakistan successfully recognized and countered the conspiracy on May 9, showing a unified front of solidarity with the military. He called for the perpetrators of the tragedy to be held accountable, urging the Supreme Court to take action. The Governor also criticized those who misused calls for forgiveness and highlighted ongoing development projects in Sindh, including housing and health sector improvements led by Bilawal Bhutto.
