Karachi Hosts 121st Midshipmen and 29th SSCC Passing Out Parade at Pakistan Naval Academy

Karachi, The Pakistan Naval Academy celebrated the passing out parade of the 121st Midshipmen and 29th Short Service Commission Course. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf presided over the ceremony as the chief guest, where a number of new officers marked the completion of their training.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, The event saw 70 midshipmen and 28 short service commission officers graduate. Admiral Ashraf distributed awards to the top performers: Midshipman Abdullah Waheed received the prestigious Sword of Honour, Midshipman Aftab Ahmed was awarded the Academy Dirk, Officer Cadet Muhammad Khubaib took home the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee Gold Medal, and Officer Cadet Muhammad Danish received the Commandant Gold Medal. The Admiral praised the Pakistan Navy’s role in training not only national cadets but also those from friendly countries, emphasizing the Navy’s commitment to maintaining high standards and proficiency. He encouraged the new officers to stay current with modern military trends and techniques.
