Karachi, Khyber Tobacco Company (KHTC), a prominent player in Pakistan’s tobacco industry, has announced a dividend distribution of 20% for the year ending 2024, maintaining its previous year’s distribution rate. The company, listed in 1968, reported a daily weighted average rate of Rs. 274.77 with a slight increase to Rs. 275.03. Despite a competitive market, Khyber Tobacco has managed to keep its turnover steady, with an earnings per share (EPS) of Rs. 273.16 for the January-March 2024 period.
