Peshawar, In a significant step towards improving higher education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), a delegation from the Teaching Staff Association (TSA) of Islamia College Peshawar held a meeting with KP’s Minister of Higher Education, Meena Khan Afridi. The delegation congratulated the minister on his new role and discussed at length the various challenges facing universities in the province.
According to Directorate General Information and PRs – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the TSA representatives highlighted the complex and serious nature of these challenges, emphasizing the need for a collective effort among the government, university faculty, and students to devise a comprehensive action plan for resolving these issues. The discussion reflected the delegation’s hopes for proactive measures from the minister to address the difficulties plaguing higher education institutions in KP.
Education Minister Meena Khan Afridi expressed appreciation for the delegation’s insights and reaffirmed his commitment to collaborative efforts aimed at enhancing the educational landscape of the province.
