KP Governor Advocates for Enhanced Religious Tourism at Heritage Sites

Karachi: Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisal Karim Kundi, has called for the promotion of religious tourism at the province’s ancient heritage sites, emphasizing the region’s rich historical tapestry as part of the Gandhara civilization. This advocacy was part of a discussion with former MNA Abdul Qadir Mandokhel in Karachi today, where they explored ways to better utilize the province’s resources.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Governor Kundi highlighted the need to bring international attention to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s historical and cultural significance. During the meeting, Abdul Qadir Mandokhel commended Governor Kundi for his efforts to initiate political consultations with all political parties, aiming to improve the management and promotion of the province’s resources, particularly in enhancing its appeal as a destination for religious and historical tourism.
