Lahore Health Minister Reviews Upgraded Oncology Facilities at Mayo Hospital

Lahore, Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafique conducted an extensive inspection of the Oncology Department at Mayo Hospital, assessing the newly restored radiation facilities and other medical services provided to cancer patients.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, during his visit, Minister Rafique was accompanied by hospital executives including CEO Prof. Ahsan Nauman, COO Prof. Faisal Masood, and Head of Department Prof. Abbas Khokhar. The minister evaluated critical areas such as the radiation machine and chemotherapy center, and met with cancer patients to discuss their treatment experiences and the care they received.

Minister Rafique expressed satisfaction with the improvements in the oncology department and underscored the significant impact of the restored radiation facilities, which are expected to benefit thousands of cancer patients. He praised the hospital administration for their efforts in enhancing patient care and encouraged continuous improvement to meet the needs of patients effectively.
