Lahore Implements Robust Security Plan for Hazrat Ali Day Celebrations

Lahore, In anticipation of Hazrat Ali Day, Capital City Police Officer Bilal Siddique Kamiana announced the deployment of an extensive security arrangement by Lahore Police to ensure the peaceful observation of the day’s events. Highlighting the significance of the occasion, Kamiana detailed the comprehensive measures taken, including specialized security for congregations and processions across the city.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Punjab, the security plan involves more than 5,000 officers and officials who are tasked with safeguarding the participants throughout the celebrations. Kamiana emphasized the implementation of a three-tiered security protocol around the areas of major gatherings and processional routes to fortify safety and maintain order.

CCPO Lahore further mentioned the use of CCTV cameras for real-time surveillance of the gatherings and processions, ensuring that security forces remain vigilant and responsive until the conclusion of the main procession. He issued a stern warning against any lapses in duty, asserting that negligence would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

Additionally, Kamiana stated that Lahore Police is coordinating closely with the district administration, Safe Cities Authority, and other relevant entities to bolster public security. Senior police officers are tasked with overseeing the operational effectiveness from control and monitoring rooms, ensuring a cohesive response to any potential threats during the commemorations.
