Islamabad, May 23, 2023 (PPI-OT): Minister for Law and Justice Azam Nazeer Tarar has appreciated the active and comprehensive role of European Union’s Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Riina Kionka regarding the GSP Plus status of Pakistan. He was talking to EU Ambassador to Pakistan Dr. Riina Kionka, who called on him in Islamabad on Tuesday.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed different issues of mutual interest. The Minister for Law said the GSP Plus status is an important milestone in economic cooperation between Pakistan and the European Union. He said Pakistan values its friendly relations with the European Union and reiterated the commitment to further promote bilateral relations with the European Union. On this occasion, the EU Ambassador gave assurance of full cooperation in the promotion of trade relations between the two sides.
