Lenovo Discusses IT Development Strategies with Pakistan’s State Minister

Islamabad, On Thursday, a delegation from Lenovo met with Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication, to discuss initiatives in digitalization, artificial intelligence, skills development, and IT infrastructure enhancement.

According to Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication, the discussions emphasized the government’s focus on leveraging IT for economic uplift. Minister Khawaja highlighted the importance of skills training aligned with the Prime Minister’s vision and urged Lenovo to assist in training Pakistani youth, particularly in fields like e-gaming. She assured full support from the IT Ministry to facilitate Lenovo’s efforts in Pakistan.

The Lenovo delegation included several key figures such as Samer El Dana, Sales Director for Gulf and Pakistan; Mohammed Rehmatullah, Head of Relationship Business, MEA; Hassan Raza, Head of Product; Nabil Haddad, Relationship Channel Lead; and Muhammad Mamoon, Relationship Manager.
