Loralai, Loralai University was the vibrant venue for the 2nd Loralai Youth Festival 2024, a two-day event designed to encourage positive engagement among local youth through various cultural and artistic competitions. Deputy Commissioner Meeran Baloch, along with other dignitaries, emphasized the government’s commitment to nurturing the talents and potentials of the youth for societal benefit.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, the festival featured performances in Tabelo, Qurat, and singing of national and regional songs by students from local schools and colleges, judged by senior professors of Kaluralai University. Deputy Commissioner Baloch highlighted the importance of such events in steering young people away from negative influences and towards constructive activities.
He stressed that educational pursuits should remain a priority and called on teachers to dedicate themselves to providing quality education. The festival not only showcased the diverse talents of students but also aimed to instill a sense of pride and accomplishment, reflecting the provincial government’s efforts to promote a positive environment for youth development.
