Lotte Chemical Pakistan Ltd Issues Final Notice for Unclaimed Dividends

Karachi: Lotte Chemical Pakistan Limited has issued a final call for shareholders to claim dividends that have remained unclaimed for three years, as stipulated under Section 244 of the Companies Act, 2017. This notice, detailed on the company’s designated Chemicals category webpage, outlines that unclaimed dividends will be transferred to the Federal Government if not claimed within the next 90 days.

According to information available from the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), an initial notice was sent to shareholders on May 21, 2024, via registered post, directing them to submit their claims to the company’s share registrar, M/s. FAMCO Share Registration Services (Pvt.) Ltd, located in Karachi. Despite these efforts, only a few claims have been processed.

The company has highlighted that any remaining unclaimed or unpaid dividends after the deadline, scheduled for publication on August 26, 2024, will be deposited with the Federal Government in compliance with the legal requirements. Shareholders are urged to visit www.lottechem.pk/unclaimed-dividend-shares to review the dividends due and to submit their claims promptly.
